Another Ella and Hurshle Playdate

Last week we watched Hurshle for the day so Josh and Chelsea could work at Country Jam. The kids had a great time of course and we got some pictures of their adventures.

They spent most of the day playing outside

This started out as a hug which ended with Hurshle falling on top of Ella. They played that way for awhile. I don't know about this!

After playing in the sandbox they both had sand imbedded in their skin so they got a bath. I am sure they will be very embarassed by this picture some day!

New Tooth!

For the first time in over three months Ella has a new tooth coming in! Its her first molar, I think. It isn't quite through enough to tell and it is close to the front, but I think it is the first molar after her canines. She hasn't been too fussy thankfully, just sleeping a lot. That's fine with me! I am very ready for her to have some molars so it is easier for her to eat normal food. She still prefers pureed vegetables and doesn't like to eat meat very much, but I am hopeful she will get better with those things when she has more teeth to chew with.

I made a flag cake for the picnic at my parent's house. It turned out pretty well for my first try!
